Ultra ANTI-OXIDANT C

Whole Food Complex Vitamin C

Ingredients:
Plant Cell Grown Vitamin C and Whole Food Complex (Bioflavonoids, Compound Lipids, Complex Carbohydrates and Soluble Native Proteins).

The world's first plant-cell grown vitamin C (not as ascorbic acid),  made up of 16 active organic, non-denatured bioflavonoids.  The result is an antioxidant packed, amazingly synergistic, phytonutrient dense, fermentation potentiated super food.

Foods provide nutrients in complex forms.  Plants for example, will take insoluble inorganic minerals from the soil and build them into complex soluble organic formations within their cellular structures.  Yeast, a living single-cell plant, can do this with a similar result.  These complex formations encompass numerous substances classified within three families known as proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids.  It is these unpartitioned, unprocessed, undenatured (or in other words “natural”) forms of nutrients.

Exactly how or what plants and species lower in the food chain do to “prepare” nutrients for utilization by other species higher up, is not known.  However, Sun Star Organics believes that a living yeast cell can help produce a naturally better High Nutrient Food Matrix than chemists can by themselves.  Therefore, in order to elevate the food state concept to higher levela, yeast growth was given a greatly expanded role in Sun Star Organics' production method for minerals.  In addition, Sun Star Organics was able to develop methods allowing about a dozen vitamins to be grown in yeast.  The desire was to allow living yeast cells to interact with vitamins in a food media, as plants interact with nutrients in the soil, helping to “build” the nutrients into a food matrix.  In further respect for the mystery of Nature, certain media also contain foods commonly associated with that vitamin (such as carrot for vitamin A).  Sun Star Organics believes in the likelihood that certain foods may have constituents with a propensity to protect or work synergistically with particular vitamins.

Published study results on the “first generation” of food state nutrients indicate improved absorption and animal tissue retention over standard free-state USP nutrients.  Other studies suggest lower toxicity for “first generation” trace minerals.  Although Sun Star Organics has no plan to test on animals, the work already done on “first generation” food state suggests that Next Generation may exhibit superior bioavailability over standard free-state USP nutrients.  We anticipate independent human studies on Sun Star Organics' Next Generation will find equal or better absorption characteristics.

Sun Star Organics has also begun asking independent scientists to investigate the question of complex formation or “bonding”.  So far, initial IR tests on Sun Star Organics' vitamins B1, B6 and C indicate those vitamins are:
A) Not identical to standard free-state USP vitamins.
B) Not just a simple mixture of USP vitamins with food.
C) Bound or associated with the food matrix.

We provided the above information back in July of 1992.  As we all know, much of the above has repeatedly been proven to be true and has been found in such mainstream publications as TIME, wherein was a cover story on Phyto Nutrients, concerning the intrinsics and unknowns.
